Because the media is fricking in Os back pocket. They aren't starting any rumor he doesn't want started. They pushed for him as HC all season and pushed for the idea of him bringing in Kiffin
National and local sources had the same exact story that Kiffin was the main target and we've sat on our hands for a month waiting on him to make a decision on OC before interviewing ANY candidate.
You can't just deny overwhelming reports and evidence just because you don't like the story being told
