Why do more one and done players not play in Europe?

I watched the Ben Simmons doc on Showtime and he seemed like the perfect candidate. He clearly did not give a single frick about playing college basketball or going to school, and I don't necessarily blame him. He was also used to being away from his family and not from the US

Brandon Jennings and Emmanuel Mudiay are the only two to my knowledge that have done it. Especially with how many players move across the country to attend prep school and such at a young age, I don't think the moving overseas part would be a huge deal. I am kind of surprised more haven't done it and am curious why that is
