Ok, this is conclusive proof that the War on Drugs kills more than it saves. The failure on heroin and opiates particularly means we need to reevaluate everything in the War on Drugs. That is simply inexcusable. 23% spike in deaths? What the shite?

There's been plenty proof already that the war on drugs has failed. Politicians could not care less.

And it is somewhat frustrating that these junkies with no self control are ruining it for the rest of us. So people with legit pain will get prescribed useless ultram bc of fearful doctors and heavy handed DEA.

I suspect actually choosing to take the drug kills 99.99% of those who die from overdose. War on drugs, no.
