i think the amazon fire TV at the moment is the best because with kodi you can relax and not worry about whether your movie is on netflix, prime or you have to go find and buy it.
you can just watch the damn thing.

No but I have considered it. Right now we just have the movies and TV shows in a master directory/folder with the files in corresponding subfolders. So for instance all the James Bond movies are in a single folder, etc.; just use file manager/file explorer to sort or search for the file we want and open it in VLC player.
