The longer this so called OC search goes on with O's boy Kiffin being his apparent hope for redemption, the more I am turning against Kiffin.

If Helfrich is available, they think he is a viable candidate, he wants the job and is ready to sign on the dotted line just get him. This is Mickey Mouse crap waiting on LK.
For the people that wonder why a lot of fans don't have faith in O, this would be a prime example. He is not running LSU football as if it's a business.

There are plenty of talented OC available. Several schools haven't even hired a head coach yet and will have finalize entire staffs.
If Kiffin is indeed the top choice, LSU will be in no difficult position having waited a couple weeks for it to pan out.
LSU could hire Kendall Briles, Sterlin Gilbert or any number of OC prospects today or in two weeks.
We are all mostly bummed about the head coaching hire, but's let's not get dramatic.
