TCU was at #4 and played 2-10 Iowa State, while Ohio State was busy fricking up the committee's 13th best team.

No Baylor did.

Baylor in 2014 Big 12 = Penn State in 2016 Big 10 East
TCU in 2014 Big 12 = Ohio State in 2016 Big 10 East

Nope. Baylor and TCU played garbage OOC and were co-champs of a garbage conference. They finished exactly where they belonged.

Was this the same year OSU lost to 6-6 VT or something like that. Thus the OOC argument would be pretty irrelevant

So playing in a conference championship game matters?

Ohio State and Penn State are Big 10 East co-champs. You LOST so Penn State wins the tie breaker just like TCU lost so Baylor won the tie breaker

Didn't the Big 12 like dumbly refuse to name one of them as actual champs?

That's irrelevant to your point about Baylor and TCU playing terrible OOC games. Literally makes no sense to penalize one team for a bad OOC schedule and turn around and reward a team for losing to a 6-6 OOC opponent. Seems contradictory.

Who said anything about rewarding them? Ohio State got in despite that loss. If either TCU or Baylor had a decent schedule, they wouldn't have been dropped.

Well see that is the thing it doesn't matter what you name them or any other subjective bullcrap it was decided on the field. They were co-champs and Baylor gets the tiebreaker via head to head win. End of Story

AKA let's make excuses for OSU and penalize Baylor and TCU. No consistency with your argument.

AKA they get no points for it. They didn't do enough to overcome their weak schedules. Ohio State did. That simple.

Four best teams. Ohio State proved they obviously fit that.

It's really hard not to have Ohio State in they have the best record in the best conference with an ooc win over the big 12 champ.
