I work at a plant in Lake Charles that's next to a chlorine plant and EVERYONE has to have an escape respirator within arms reach at all times. If you come through the gate, you are given one. They stress it big time. There are a couple of guys that have been here for 30+ years and said they can only remember having to use them once.

LAO requires everyone inside the gates to have an escape respirator.
ETA: Unless they are given one at the gate. I know for a fact the drivers do not bring one in their truck.
