I was a HUGE fan of West Wing. Heck only Godfather has talked about West Wing more than me.
Newsroom was a heavily flawed, heavily slanted pile of crap that wasn't remotely realistic. Show me the Republican News Anchor who attacks Republicans all day and NEVER attacks liberals and then maybe we can talk. Until then, Newsroom was a steamer.
Studio 60 and Newsroom somewhat prove that Sorkin needed someone like Wells to tone him down a bit.
