Great. Now Lugurtha is a dyke.
Lagertha* has always been an aggressive powerful woman. Only fitting she would try out some poon.

Agenda? Oh stop with that shite. If anything her turning to a woman for affection fits her storyline perfectly given the shite luck she's had with men in her lifetime.
She will always love Ragnar, that much is obvious. But they know how fricked up they are for each other at this point.
Their talk about regrets hit me in the feels.

What did Ragnar say to Floki about Valhalla?
Basically that he doesn't know whether the Gods will accept him into Valhalla in response to Floki suggesting that they'd see each other again there even if they never do in the flesh (since Floki is going with Bjorn and Ragnar is going back to England).

I didn't like where the show is going. Ragnar is not himself,no fighting Viking anymore. Lagatha is a Lesbian. The sons are not much. the handicapped son is a sick sex nut, but, Google says he became the King in real life. The brother seems to settle in in France as a ruler and son-in-law of the King of France. Just not the same, even Floki and Biorn are moving in other directions.

Yes, they are breaking up the gang, as happens in real life and history.
This is not Tolkein.....

He's really becoming Ragnar 2.0 and fueled by his disability. Ivar is a major player in the Viking history so I'm excited to see what they do with the sons of Ragnar beginning their legacies.
Didn't the seer say that Bjorn would become a king? And if so, wouldn't the series focus more on him?

They've done a good job so far. Trust the writers a little bit. History gave them a great script to follow.

Ragnar likely dies this season. The show will then probably focus on Bjorn/Rollo/Ubbe/Ivar/Sigurd/Lagertha as they try to achieve fame. They will headline their own stories but be interwoven into each other's storylines. This will be great to watch.

Bjorn becomes King, but Ivar avenges his father's death. Both are incredibly important characters going forward.

Curious to see how they portray this. They showed his skills in this episode, but hes incredibly immobile.
Read something saying Ivar was a fierce warrior and was carried off the battlefield on top of his soldier's shields (Which makes more sense now).

Great episode. Ivar is going to be such a savage.
He was a badass in real life.

Bump. Updated OP with information regarding tonight's episode

It should be good. Every episode has been awesome (although some of the historical inaccuracies have been less awesome).

Get some Ecbert action tonight! That is one devious motherfricker. Also, will we get to see grown up Magnus? I'm sure he's going to be a formidable character along with Alfred.

Doubtful we'll see a grown up Magnus this season. It nearly 2 seasons for Bjorn to "grow up" and 1.5 for Ivar, Segurd and the other guy to "grow up". Magnus was introduced at the beginning of season 4 (maybe at the end of season 3? Someone please confirm) so I seriously doubt we see grown up Magnus this season or even next.
I'm personally looking forward to see Bjorn and Rollo's stories unfold.

Vikings wiki has Magnus at age 12. I'm not sure if this is pre or post time jump. I know Bjorn received his arm ring at 12 so he will definitely be in the picture. I'm hoping Magnus is around 16.

They have him at age 12 right now in the series? Magnus doesn't look a day older than 6 years old right now on the show.

So who is actually "king" right now?
I agree about Ecbert. Great character. He's so biblical looking.
