It's almost like the administration says "our schools weren't good enough for you before, so you can't have a spot now." They basically cater to BR public/charter school kids.

He's not getting into Baton Rouge High. The feeder school for Baton Rouge High is the academic middle schools. I moved my son out of private school into the academic middle school so he would have a shot at Baton Rouge High. They only allow 1% of kids not from the magnet program into Baton Rouge High and that likely is a couple of gifted students that didn't go that magnet school route.
Lee high is brand new so that's a different story. Lee high was built in part because of the kids not getting into Baton Rouge High.
