Bc when teams have big leads they run the ball more. When your d can't give you a big lead well you end up throwing all game long. When other teams get the lead on you they play soft defense. Let you complete little 5 -6 yard passes til your heart is content. All the way down the field. IE the Brees specialty.

Brees is 6th in the NFL in Y/A while still leading the league in completion %.

No team the saints have played against this year has had a "big lead" on them that they 'prevent' all game long.

This dink and dunk you assume is so off base its hilarious, considering the fact Brees is one of the best at the intermediate and deep ball discredits you on that.
