I mean if he wants to tell his granny to pick up C West with a legit waiver claim I could really care less. That doesn't bother me.
The Hightower thing and this deal with editing rosters is definitely him being shady. The fact he hasn't actually addressed either scenario just reinforces he knows he handled it wrong.

I addressed the Hightower thing in the thread when it came up.
And I feel like VermilionTiger and I have explained what we are trying to accomplish with this rule.
So I'm done with it. Moving on to week 13.
Who should I start? D Adams, Crabtree, Moncrief?

Yea, frick that. I'm in the Pels talk league and I'm eliminated, but I will have my lineup set to try and win. I'd expect the same from everyone. And if I wouldn't try to be competitive I'd expect to be kicked out.

The grandma thing doesn't sound THAT bad. There are people in my league to whom I am closer and talk more. Obviously they are going to get advice (good or bad) more than the people who I don't see very often. I guess I could see how the line may be blurry if you get to the point where he was practically running the team for her.

So you don't see a problem with this...me, him, you, granny, all in a league together. Granny has 1 waiver priority, you have 2, I have 3, he has 4. Your team is near top of the standings but you would use a better RB2. You put in your waiver for him, now granny puts one because she was told she needed to pick him up.
You lose to granny in the playoffs when West puts up 20 against you.
No issues there?

No he is not...they asked me if I knew any people who knew how to play fantasy well and were really competitive...this was supposed to be a high competition league.
I bring in dan and he is told to get the frick out if he doesn't like unfair rules.
So this is heading more towards the family league, where Commish have to remind people to set line ups.
And now two of the people who were in it to compete are removed because of shady shite.

A strong/competent commissioner can make fantasy football a great experience...where there's not one in place, it can make it a huge headache.

Actually THEY aren't out. Danny is in for the playoffs.
And it will run smoothly because apparently everybody else is ok with bowing down to whatever you want. Beav can threaten to quit the league whenever you pull the first bullshite, but doesn't say a peep and pretends to ride the fence....now that he's on your side of the argument he's quick to jump in and argue on your behalf. Sorry not everybody was willing to bow down to the shady shite.

I'm not in it. I was taking over my brothers team while he was in the military at boot camp last year. That is a completely separate league....was just pointing that situation out, since the mighty Commish said he only has problems with me.
The problems exist in all the leagues, just nobody says anything.

I guess the point is that if you're in a league that involves someone's grandmother and multiple members of his family and they are reaching to try and get more players, you probably shouldn't expect it to be that competitive or well run.
I'm completely on your side in this argument, I just think it's funny that anyone would expect a league set up this way to be competitive, fair, or well run.
