Let me help you.

21-29 as a HC in the regular season
7-23 in the SEC
0-0 conference titles
0-0 bowl games

Now If you didn't know that was O's résumé, would you hire that résumé?

The answer is no 100 out of 100 times.

There's no changing their mind about O so stop trying. No matter the facts you present they still believe what they want. And I say this as a big former positiger, I loved Miles and thought he deserved a 2nd chance after last season assuming the offense would change. Now, I guess I'm a negatiger, got no excitement about the program anymore. Maybe the bowl game and off-season can bring me back but I just don't trust Orgeron to put us back to top 10 annually with occasional NC. We had a shot to be with the big boys but Alleva failed. But Ill always and forever say

Hell, with that thought process no one would ever be a head coach! O coached at Ole Miss 10 FREAKING YEARS AGO! He has admitted that he made several mistakes and has learned from them and changed his approach to coaching. He did decent at USC getting their program to win for him as interim and did the same for us this year. I'll admit, the 2 losses he had weren't pretty but stuff happens.

It really doesn't matter who they hired though. First loss next year and this board would be losing their minds that the someone else should have been hired, no matter who the coach is.
