The media (ESPN) are working a partnership with the longhorn network. Guess what, if Texas is good, it's good for business.
That's why the hire was leaked the other night on ESPN. Now they're just in damage control mode. They figure they can trick our stupid as frick fan base by pumping that it was a good hire.

Of course the media loves the hire. It's become a pastime at ESPN to mock LSU's head coach. Rece's Miles impression was actually coming along quite nicely.
