First and goal with 1:50 left and they run. That's good. But then they hurry up for second down play and only burn :21. Obviously scoring on second down was good, but they could have burned more time. But whatever. Maybe they thought they had the defense on their heels and wanted to take advantage of that.

The bigger issue was when Memphis had first down inside the 20 only needing a field goal to tie with 50 seconds left. They run on first down to milk the clock and despite having 3 timeouts left, Houston does not call timeout. Instead, they let 27 seconds run off the clock before Memphis'next play, which was the game winning td. Those two sequences reminded me so much of Miles.

That said, I prefer Herman over O, because he's a young coach who hopefully will learn and adapt. But are all of you Herman guys who have tunnel vision right now going to be patient enough through those growing pains?
