I agree with this.

The game, the characters, the environment, everything else is pretty god awful. Even the leveling system is pretty awful. But the combat just felt so good and clean. I wish 15 had that sort of combat, because it's the closest thing you can get to the old school FF these dys.

Just finished chapter one. What level is everyone at?

I'm at 13 but I've been side questing around pretty much in chapter 2.. and fighting hordes of the enemies that get dumped on you in the map.. bout to continue to press on in the story though since it seems some of my available side quests are getting higher leveled and also appear to be in blocked areas of the map

I'm at level 17 after 7 hours of playtime. Chapter 3

I spent one of those hours just fishing

Game was worth the wait

Just an FYI:

give wait mode a try

Wait mode feels like it should have been default...it's really better and if you don't stop moving you don't notice it's on til you stand still

Yeah I switched to wait mode a few hours in because I'm not great at combat so I wanted to see the difference. I like it better; i can kind of catch a breather and think for a second at times which I like but it doesn't really change the overall feel of the battle.

I'm not sure where that's located on yours but I feel like our "O" and "square" should be reversed for PS4
