Just so I get this right:
He's supposed to stop tweeting because it's a colossal waste of time and he has more important things to do.
But he's also supposed to denounce the whack jobs that spew nonsense every five minutes with major addresses outlining his positions and policies to eradicate such abominable behaviors.

Because they are irrelevant and should be treated as such. Denouncing them, or even acknowledging their existence, by the president elect lends them more credence and attention and appearance of influence than they deserve.
The media should ignore them. They are lending these fringe groups a platform for their message to get out on a national audience. It's dangerous. I had never heard of Spencer until I saw that video of his speech. I watched that video, and the first thing that hit me was that I know a ton of people who would agree with many of his points.
It's dangerous to give them an audience. It's how movements start. Ignore them. Trump doesn't need to denounce them. They need to ignore them
