My mom runs an oilfield company that she took over after my grandfather passed away (She's an only child). Suffice to say, no Although, I must say that business has been tough for her as it has for the entire oil industry, but she's confident that under Trump things will return.

No. And they're retired and it's still not even close if you're talking monthly. It won't be much longer though .......sigh. I'll soon "make" much more but will be willing to give it up for a few more years of having them with us! We , my SO and myself , will make out very well from both sides of our family. One side with cash and the other with cash and a lot of real estate. We are very fortunate.

More than one, less than one.

When my grandfather who has cancer passes, I will pass them both.

I'd live on min wage and food stamps, for the rest of my life to keep him around though.

Not even close.
Dad makes bank and my stepmother and her shitty kids will be set whenever he moves on. Which hopefully is a long time from now.

My parents make about $120k, me and my wife make $145k. My whole family came a long way because we grew up dirt poor. My parents are in there 50's and I'm still in my 20's.

Not my mom, she retired with full benefits from the state making close to 90. She put 36 years on to get that.

Dad is retired but when he was still working, no. Our household income is more than he had because his wife didn't work but soley he made more than my wife and I.

My mom, yes...now I make more than her but I don't make more than what she did at her peak.

The big differences in my eyes are:
1- I'm not divorced
2-I only have one child

I'm able to do more with less.
