Oh we're definitely probably gonna suffer. But let me be clear, Donald Trump is NOT my president. Donald trump will NEVER be my president.
I'm over it now. It's going to be fun to see all of this implode the next few years.

I watched the video and the cast were actually very respectful to him
I'm guessing you haven't heard about the boos during the performance as well. The cast was working with the audience in between lines to have the booing.

...I just watched the video ( link ) and like 2 people in the audience booed.
One of the main cast members then told the crowd not to boo and welcomed Pence and thanked him for seeing their show. He told him a lot of the people there had concerns about their administration and hoped that they would protect all people. I thought it was very respectful, and besides it maybe being slightly annoying for people there who don't want to hear broadway castmembers bringing up current politics (although they were at Hamilton, a political story in nature), I can't imagine how people would be offended by it.

And I doubt Alexander Hamilton would have a problem with some actors asking an elected official to listen to their interests
The whole performance was a boo fest. He was treated like shite. You can speak up for your interests, but making the whole performance a boo fest is unclassy. Should have asked him to meet with the cast after the show or something. Everything has to be a spectacle with these people.

Hope Trump bulldozes these fricking idiots. Booing the damn VP. The cast wrote him a letter read in their curtain call saying they hope he defends all their diverse rights. fricking children. frick them they need to be steamrolled.
Well he is a "small government conservative" who contradicts his own ideals with his religious morality. It makes him a pretty easy target at a show performed by openly gay people...

Some people from the crowd booed, not the cast.

The performance seemed to compliment the boos based on eye witness testimony.

I'm sure Pence can handle it. If not, he'll just have to get used to it.

Yeah that is what you guys have been saying...
But trump won
And racist sexist homophobic GOP holds most state houses and governorships

Yeah he won . He won by th3e thinnest of margins in several Midwestern states in year when a recored number of Democrats didn't even show up to vote. I velieve he won by .26% of 1% in Wisconsin.
Do you realize how easy it's gonna be to flip these states back? Especially when he doesn't come through on his promises to bring all these working calass whites their jobs back.
I'm not worried at all. If anything his administration is going to be a godsend to the Democratic Party.

How so? Stage actors are taught to pause for audience reactions. Are you suggesting the performance encouraged booing somehow? I'm really confused why you're upset with the production of the musical.

Welcome back snowflake.
You should be thrilled America voted for the one candidate that was against the militant ideology that would toss you off of a roof to your death for sport. Hell I still carry small pieces of iron brass and galvanized steel in various places defending your right to be a snowflake. I actually like you man bc most of your posts come from genuine concern. Show up here more regularly again. And be genuine every time
Hopefully someday you understand
