Every time I've wrote Senator Sessions he's returned my questions fully answered and to my satisfaction. A few times he told me things I didn't like, but he answered honestly.

I have voted for him every time and I feel he is honest and trustworthy.

I hate to lose his leadership in Congress, but I can see where his knowledge and leadership on the Cabinet could be for the greater good. So that's a trade-off.

He'll be a good selection for what ever post he's selected for.

He needs to be Sec State or Sec Def

Guy has done it right for a long time.

We'll send a good replacement Senator from AL

Unfortunately, our governor is wallowing in impeachment controversy - but the country still doesn't need to worry about Alabama sending a bad Senator to replace Sessions

I know a bunch of people who have worked for Sessions. Good guy and does a good job in his role as a Jr. Senator from Alabama. The truth is he had no prospects of really becoming a party leader and he saw an opportunity with Trump to change that. More power to him for that decision but I honesty think Trump can do so much better when it comes to filling the State and Defense positions.

Compared to some of the yokels we tend to have in statewide offices here in AL, I'd rather have Sessions down here as Governor or Senator....but that's a low bar to hurdle. Just think he'd be out of his element as Secretary of State or Defense. If he gets a cabinet spot, then I think Bentley will appoint Luther Strange to replace him. No need to worry about a Democrat taking a Senate seat here in Alabama. Better chance of Chattanooga beating Alabama this weekend.
