I guess I don't understand. Couldn't he get some good tape against a good team in the bowl game and this next two weeks?

Quitter.

Quit before the season if you want to go this route. But quitting in the middle of a season is a bitch move.

It happens tacitly a lot. Players check out from the team, concentrate on not getting hurt and then regroup for combines.

He's played like two games this year and played about half the season last year.

You don't leave your teammates like that.

No respect for him. Tell coach you want to sit out with "injury" and prepare that way. Shitty to turn your back on the program that brought you here imo.

Maybe this will make his stock plummet, and he falls all the way to Dallas

He's been in the concussion protocol for like a month. Don't know his concussion history, but coming back & suffering another one will surely hurt his draft stock. This isn't a perfectly healthy guy quitting on his team.

Can't blame the guy at all. I wouldn't want to risk my professional career by getting hurt in a game where I'm not even getting paid. If he believes he is good enough to get drafted despite whatever negative PR crops up for this then more power to him.

Is this what kids are these days?

NFL GMs gonna avoid this idiot...except the Browns. They'll draft him 1st round.
