I kinda suspect that nobody working for GT this past week had their heads in the game. Players and coaches alike.

Yes - I am a HUGE proponent of only judging a persons last game, therefore I say hire New Mexico DC as they shut out Nevada in the New Mexico Bowl.

To hell with a complete body of work.

Tenuta may suck, but I'm not going to judge him by one game. Most football people don't judge coaches on one game. Plus, you have to think about how he'll work with our athletes.

and the SEC has much better athletes than Fresno St. ... but still Tenuta is great, Pelini is great - people need to get over judging a DC on one or two or their worst games

It kinda reminded me of Miles' last game before he announced he'd taken the LSU gig. (bowl game versus OSU). Could be a sign that he's checked out already?

No, Tenuta had to take head coaching responsibilities so he couldn't coach the defense like he normally would. That is the reason for the bad defensive performance, idiot.

Seems like he would fit right in at LSU!

GT led the nation in sacks...Imagine what he would do with LSU.

Tenuta's not a good HC ... we saw that. And as other said he had to split his time with other things a HC does and couldn't focus on D.

And during every other game I've seen of GT (which is going on 6 seasons now) he works from the coaches booth and not from the sidelines, I think that really affected his ability to call effective plays

someone throw up some numbers here on tenuta's georgia tech defenses here ... i have never really equated the yellow jackets with great defenses and never heard his name really ever mentioned that prominently until this season ...
