I'm not even sure that 'tale as old as time' is the best song from that movie. I love it but 'Be Our Guest' definitely deserves a mention when it comes to best Disney song.

I've never seen the animated BATB. I do remember Linda Hamilton doing that tv show years ago.

Best Disney Song Tournament, let's do it. Where's MrTide33?

I'm in, but not until I can make sure I avoid another hiatus in that tournament

ETA: Hakuna Matata is definitely not he best song in Lion King IMO. That would be Circle of Life. Partially because Hakuna Matata is actually a song promoting a bad philosophy that Simba eventually has to turn his back on. Plus it's much sillier.

Haven't watched Beauty and the Beast enough times to really choose a best song from that.

How do you not watch most of the Disney films simply through osmosis? Surely your parents or friends or siblings/friends siblings tried to show these movies to you.

Looks awesome. Beautiful scenery and a great cast. Hopefully, they can all sing well. It's interesting that the trailer doesn't make it super obvious that it's a musical. With their last 2 live action remakes (Jungle Book and Cinderella), Disney stayed very true to the source material, so I'm hoping that the crap fest that was Maleficent was an anomaly.

Looks fine, if not a bit safe. I wish Guillermo del Toro had stayed on.

I gotta say, I was never a huge fan of the idea of Disney rebooting all of their classics in live action form, but that looks fantastic

Is "tale as old as time" the best Disney song ever? Im thinking its very possible.

I've always been partial to "I'll make a man out of you" from Mulan

Lion King definitely has the best trio though with "The Circle of Life", "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" and "Hakuna Matata"

Don't feel bad, I haven't seen the animated movie either. I was a boy not interested in princess movies.
