Do you think it would have made a difference to include Guice in the game plan against bama. As good as Fournette is , he did not have one of his better games that night. Guice brings a little more wiggle and different type runner than Fournette. He had two weeks to prepare and basically went all miles in biggest hame of

Disclaimer: I would not call myself an "O supporter." I was in the camp that if we won out, i.e., a natty, then he should be given strong consideration. It's all about winning championships.

Now back to the OP, the game with Bama could have turned on a single play (or lousy officiating call). It was the kind of game that you have to 'manufacture' points.

So our OC should have tried to set-up some HR plays of whatever sort.

no...I think it would have made a difference to have an O-line that could open holes for either one of them.

Yes.

Not really. He should have used Guice, but that was a single mistake. Miles was supposed to be the offensive line guru, and couldn't even do that. Give Coach O a year to retool and retrain the o-line and I think he beats Alabama on that improvement alone.

No clue whether Guice playi g more would have helped but he does hit the hole harder than Fournette does. Fournette punishes some LB's and all safeties but Guice runs violent at the line which is what we needed against bama with little running room available. As far as hiring O I think it could work keeping Aranda and with the right OC. My question to everyone else is are you comfortable hiring like a Jimbo for $5 or $6MM with a long term contract they would definitely require. What if he doesn't work out? We're screwed for years that way. Hire O for a fraction of the cost on a shorter deal and see what happens. Just my opinion.

To OP's family: my sincerest condolences. Was it his nose that hit submit as his soul moved to a better place?

Can't all you guys that are against Coach Orgeron get together and place your stupid arse questions all together in one thread and try to do it weekly instead of ten times a day
