Not sure why anyone in their right mind bothers with keeping up with CFB these days. There is no parity at all, and it's pretty much Gumpabama and then "everyone else". Not even sure why the Gump fanbase cares either, because they are handed the trophy every year no matter what. LSU is miles away (pardon the pun) from being at Gump levels. It is what it is.

See above post.....LSU game. If refs don't miss or make calls when convenient for Bama it's a different ball game. Imagine going balls out for 3+ quarters and staying in the game only to have a suspect call or non call change the game. It's demoralizing.

By the way, I never said they aren't good (they are damn good) Just said they most always get the benefit of the doubt. If thinking that makes me a bitch then so be it.

You know it's ok, as an LSU fan, to be pissed and comment on the obvious.

Maybe WE should try getting more than 125 yards of offense and putting points on the board. You don't win games like that. Dave Aranda is the only reason we were in that game. So let's not pretend the refs caused the poor offensive performance of LSU.

Yeah, but their offense wasn't doing shite either. I understand Bama being blind, but how can you as an LSU fan ignore that.

The game is always tight and it always seems to flip in their favor with a bogus call or non call. I know calls get missed throughout the game, but there always seems to be that critical call in every game. How is that hard to see?

Put points on the board or lose...period. you make a claim it's a different ball game, but we had 125 yards of offense the ENTIRE GAME. What makes you think we turn it around in the last few minutes? You have no clue if it would be a different ball game and the offensive stats up until then say it wouldn't have.

You think all the players on the sideline said "man they're holding! They got points on a bad call! This is all the refs fault we're losing!" and then that took the wind out of their sails? You really believe that? Or do you think that our defense was exhausted because our offense was shite?

I acknowledge Alabama gets calls their way. I also acknowledge that that's not why they win games. Even the LSU one. I also acknowledge that we as well as every other team get calls for us when we shouldn't.

It's one thing to acknowledge it but let's not pretend like the refs lost us or any other team the game against Bama this year. Youre probably one of those people who want to leave the sec and create some new conference because "woe is us. We are treated so unfairly." Blah blah blah bitch bitch bitch. Grow a pair and realize our offense lost us the game not the refs.

I love how posters talk about LSU wouldn't have won the game because Alabama still wins by a fieldgoal.

Wrong!! Prior to the holding call, LSU was penalized for hitting Hurt out of bounds similar to the no-call hit on Etling. If the refs, call a fair game and not make that call...it's 3rd and long for Alabama in which they probably don't convert.

Again, Alabama did not do anything spectacular against LSU. LSU definitely needed more offense to win the game, but so did Alabama. The difference was Alabama benefitted from the refs, which everyone in the nation except the SEC office has acknowledged. Now, it's time to move on to Arkansas...Geaux Tigers!

And to add to my points above it makes us look like bitches in the SEC. If i was a fan of any other sec team and i read this non sense i would think "what a bunch of cry babies." Cant take the loss and poor offensive production so they blame it on the refs.

You cannot care about that if you don't want to, but i for one don't want that perception of our fan base. Make a comment about it once after the game, sure. This is like the 20th or more thread in one week. So yeah it does make us look like whiny bitches.

That was all that needed to be said LAST SATURDAY. I am still trying to figure out why people are starting threads about it when we play Arky in 4.5 hours.

So, because the game was not called fair LSU is thought of as "Whiny babies?"

This is absurd especially considering this is not the 1950's. We have great technology advancement with the use of replays and the reason why LSU posters make the so called "Bama Privilege" remarks is because it is a "PATTERN" with SEC officials missing obvious calls even with the use of instant replay.

Look no further than PP7's interception that was ruled not a catch. It's not a case of us being Whiny, it's about the refs doing their job and calling a fair game.

Now, if Alabama is beating us 24-0 or something like that and there are missed calls, then one can say we didn't lose because of the refs. But a 0-0 game until some missed calls affected the LSU and Alabama outcome!

What's so funny? You know as well as any other lsu fan that fournettes first td was due to a hold. #71 pulled #3 down from behind by the neck as he went to tackle fournette. LSU privilege. Refs paid. Push lsu back 10 yds and it changes everything. Next play probably would have been a pick 6 and put LSU down 17-0

I know it blows my mind too.
I don't cry over spilled milk or its not sour grapes...and any other famous cliches you may think of...I have seen with my own eyes for over 50 years the SEC prejudice that is Birmingham and SEC officials.

Does anyone know why? I have theories, let's hear yours.

LSU is thought of as whiny babies because the game was lost on offense. You can make up as many scenarios of WHAT COULD'VE BEEN but when you can't score all game then it doesn't matter. Any bad call effects the game in some manner, but implying that's why lsu lost is just wrong and dumb.

Eta: we also look like whiny babies because MSU is currently playing bama yet fans on here are bitching like its last Saturday. We made our peace with it. Just let it go is my point. Whiny babies keep bringing it up over and over as excuses.

What makes you think we can't? I'll admit the offense looked like shite all game, but you never know when someone might slip or miss a tackle.

You sound like some of the bama fans after the game when Petersons interception was overturned (and some LSU fans as well), the talk was "Lee wasn't going to move your offense down the field for a touchdown. Perhaps he wasn't, but stranger things have happened. That's why the game is played, anything can happen.

Call a fair game and let THE PLAYERS decide the outcome. That's all the fans are asking for.

Meh, that long kickoff return State had, we had a guy tackled that would have made the play. they missed that one too. Their O line has put on a holding clinic today and I dont think they've had one called on them.

Also, they have called 3 total bullshite pass interference calls on us.
We have been totally screwed by the refs today. Worst I've seen all year. These guys had it out for us for whatever reason.

Supposedly the best conference in football has the worst officials.

Our future head coach called the ACC refs "cowardly" and "gutless."

I can't wait to have a HC who isn't afraid to call out the refs on national TV.

Lol...Alabama couldn't score all game either. Their FG kicker missed the FG and their only TD score was due to three blatant holds on a TD call.

I'm sure if LSU had three offensive Linemen holding Alabama on just one down, Fournette takes one to the house or Etling throws a TD pass!

Bag man didn't make it in time? I'm sure the check would've cleared, and it's not like they don't know you're good for it.
