I want to counter that by congratulating the Trump supporters (who I used to refer to as trumpettes - a term that I have now retired.)

I expected the level of gloat and recriminations toward all of us who spoke ill of Trump in the past to be much much more vehement than what I have witnessed.

SO - to all you erstwhile TRUMPETTES - THANK YOU for your patience with us and for your overall great attitude. (and that really IS my last usage of that word except for historical reference)

Thanks again - you all saw something that escaped a lot of us. You were insufferable during the primaries and throughout the campaign. But, you have accepted us back onto the right side of the track with grace for the most part.
