1. Heal the divisions and come together as a nation

If you read the comments from the left this morning, they have no desire for "healing." Trump and the Republican Congress need to roll up their sleeves and live up to their agenda. Be magnanimous but don't buy into this ploy that the left is interested in genuine healing and coming together. Their vitriol and intolerance for dissent knows no bounds.
Repeal Obamacare, pass tax reform, get conservatives on the SC, reform our trade deals, and pass legislation that creates LONG TERM border security. And plan on getting it done in 2 years. Period.
Playing sunshine and rainbows with the left is a fool's game IMO.

All snide remarks aside that is the only hope that Trump has. Obama should be a cautionary tale....when you have the white house and congress you step on the necks of your opposition and do not let up....there is no reason at all for Trump and the GOP to give two fricks what the left and democrats think or say....there ain't even any reason to pretend to care what the opposition says or thinks....press your agenda as far as possible and let the opposition use energy and resources down the road trying to regain ground.
The difference will be that many moderate democrats will be willing to "cross" the aisle, as if they are needed, where the GOP was pretty strong in its opposition.
The interesting thing is going to be watching the never Trump republicans change their tune...or not....
All smart assed responses aside y'all truly need to insist that Trump forces his agenda down the throats of anyone who doesn't eat it willingly. Obama thought he would be able to appeal to some on the right and gain some bi-partisanship and it cost him dearly....it is the reason that his legacy is going to be written by the Victors who just elected their man to the whitehouse.
