Exactly where is it low? as of 3:30, 31k of the registered 46k voters in the county had voted. With people still having to get off work, another 8500 to 9000 votes seems reasonable

I just looked at voter turnout in a few key precincts in Walton County (Miramar Beach, Sandestin, Seaside, 30a) and turnout is definitely down. Mail-in and Early Voting (which is already counted at the election office) is down roughly 20% from the 2012 election. Today's vote is below 2012's total but the polls are still open for a little while. I'm going to look at Okaloosa County (Destin and Fort Walton Beach) to see if this trend continues in other areas of the panhandle.
