I took my elderly parents to vote today. Southern Alabama, mostly rural precinct.

Based on my estimation, approximately 75% of those voting are non-Hispanic whites aged 65 or older. I'd further guess that maybe 40% are like my folks, in their 80s.

Regardless of today's result, this nation will be drastically different in another decade or so. Prepare accordingly.

The place I used to go to was ALL old people. I forgot I did finally change my voting booth tho... and I've heard that place is parking lot STILL full so bad you can not even drive in atm, lines around the building.

So I have that to look forward to when I get off work.

Good point.

I saw more people in line to vote today than any time in my voting life.

There were about 150 people in my place during the 1/2 hour I was there.
148 whites (evenly divided male and female...average age about 45)
2 blacks ...both young ladies
0 Hispanics
0 Asians

There is a whole section of social science dedicated to this. It all comes down to growth in the Hispanic population. The Asian population will double but still be under 10% by 2060. Blacks barely move the needle only moving from 13% to 14%. Non-Hispanic whites will be at 48%. The remaining population will be Hispanic.
