Injuries and terrible schedule.
Lost Wade, Chandler, Kieff, Melo, Bron, Love, Marc, to injuries or rest the last 2 weeks. Same shite happened last playoffs. I know,

What are the options? 2-week matchups? Not sure that fixes anything TBH. Toula got 3 games from Westbrook all 3 weeks of the playoffs. A 2-week matchup would have been even worse for him. The reality is guys ar gonna get injured, have bad schedules and get rested no matter what. Seems weird to play matchups all year based on 1 week 45 game limits and then double it in the playoffs.

Two week playoffs are much better and the best way to do it. It's closer to evening out games for star players. Cut the regular season a few weeks back and do two week playoffs.

Just used 2 week playoff matchups for the first time in my irl league. These guys hate change - it's a points based league and we don't keep anyone. They frown on any type of change, and they all agreed after we wrapped up the season that 2 week playoffs was the way to go.

I don't know if i want to cut back the season that much though.
We had nice drama in playoff seeding leading right up until the last day this year. Some teams need the extra 3 weeks of season to continue to make a push.

yes
teams are already conceding earlier and earlier every year. we need to promote competition. matter of fact, capturing 1st place reg season should bring more of a financial return than the measley $150 it brings. harder to finish 1st reg season than it is to win it all.
