You guys don't get it. According to the no to O crowd he is a big dumb Cajun incapable of learning or "figuring it out". No matter what he will always be the guy that sucked at Ole Miss. Any accomplishments after that must always carry an "*".

Yet, he is also an evil genius capable of launching a PR campaign that has fooled the CFB world that only a few savvy internet ADs can see through all of the smoke and mirrors. He's even fooled his own staff including Moffit and Craig who have heaped praise on O's new approach. He's fooled his players as well. They think they are actually good and well coached. When will they come to their senses?

I tend to be more of a black and white, no-nonsense kind of person, but there actually is some genius to what O is doing. Say "if" he gets the job. The infusion of excitement he is putting into the program excites the fan base on the street and in the stands. Bringing in high profile speakers (The Rock, maybe) creates a buzz. All the things he's doing creates an aura around the program. How do you think that attracts today's 17-18 year old kid looking for the school where is going to play football and the university that will be his home the next 4 years?

We don't have to build a program from the ground up. The foundation is here. We just need to reach the next level. We historically pay coordinators well so we will get good people. I've posted articles already Moffit, Craig and Ensminger discussing tangible results. There is a long way to go to see if O is the man for the job. Is he the most qualified? Nope. But, I also believe in the philosophy of right man, right place, right time. Sometimes you want a sports car when you need a pick up truck.
