Looked at the lineup today and holy shite it's bad. Seems like they never have anyone worth a shite now.
I remember as a kid, they'd have big names that played there on a huge stage with big crowds.
I know there are people here who are "in the know". What the hell happened?

I remember seeing DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince and New Kids on the Block back '86 or so. Last time I've been to that chithole.

I saw Cheap Trick and Joan Jett at the state fair. This was probably around '84/'85...

Last time I went I saw Kyper, had to have been in the mid to late 80's.

Kyper must be busy.
John Fred passed away many years ago.
However, it is football season -- and I hear Allison Collins has a nice, catchy new song about the local professional football team.
Maybe she can inject some life into the live GBRSF shows -- as long as her mysterious, random boxer dude comes along with her.

Remember Wayne Toups playing the fair. Think he might have been on prison release or something too.
