Well, if he goes out against bama and gains 150-200 yards and puts the team on his back and LSU wins...he is firmly back in the hunt.

They are paid to find a balance of what they truly believe and what will generate the best chance of sustained or increased "eyes on tv" for their bosses. I would love to see the performance appraisals and bonus criteria for these guys. At the end of the day, as much as they love what they do for a living, they are employees with a boss, and they have agendas to meet to advance in pay and their careers. Saying that Fournette is still alive is good banter for ratings, and is certainly plausible.

If Fournette is still in the Heisman race at the end of November, it means he went off on all of our November opponents and most likely we will be on a winning streak.

So yeah, Fournette for Heisman. here's to him trucking over some motherfrickers in red uniforms next week.

He was royally screwed last year. He should have at least gotten a invite. The committee robbed that from that young man from that experience. They what sent 4 to the Heisman? That was a freaking joke!

I think some of you forgetting EVERYONE in the media at this point last year was saying to just give LF7 the Heisman, and that basically no one else has a shot, it happens almost every year, the Heisman frontrunner rarely wins it before Novemember starts. Not saying Buga will win it this year, but he still has a fighting chance.

He's gonna need at least 100 yds and a defining moment against Bama. Maybe a 30 yd TD in the 4th where he basically supermans it. If he does that he's back in the top 5.

150+ yds against Arkansas, which is very likely considering what Auburn did to them.

UF could be a huge turning point. If they keep winning it'll be a top 10 game and UF has a hell of a defense. He's gonna need 175+ which is more than possible.

A&M is where he could get into a serious conversation with Lamar Jackson. If they win out it could be a top10 showdown and the only game on that day. It'll be billed at Myles vs Leonard and Leonard needs to go off in this one 250+ total yards.

The SEC championship is where Leonard could unseat Lamar. He needs to go for 200+ rushing yds

The conversation after that game would be best player vs best numbers. My money is on Lamar but I hope LF gets to go to NY. Kid deserves it.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves though. Most important thing for. LF heisman campaign is us winning. Doesn't matter what he does if we lose.

The Heisman is already won. He can still get a trip to NYC though.

He needs about 150 from scrimmage - ideally 100+ rushing and 40 - 50 receiving and a TD or 2 plus the win.

He has a shot at all of those if the OL and TEs show up and play tough.

wut?

At the same point in the season last year Fournette was -242 to win the Heisman and Henry was +1615. Lamar Jackson is -300 at Bovada at the moment.

If you think that strongly that it is already locked up, every $300 bet on Jackson will net you a $100 return, so you should pony up the cash.

I understand your point, but I can see LF putting up big total yards (rushing and receiving) against Bama. If he does, he is still in Heisman picture.

Bama is where he lost it last year. It's where he will win it this year. 175+ yards, 2+ TDs with an LSU win and he will be in true contention.
