Verizon did the same thing for me. I got $200 off my pixel xl with no contract and they refunded the 299 for my Note 7 on a two-year contract so I actually came out a hundred bucks to the good. They also refunded my case and screen protector for my note 7 as well with no recipet needed

Wow, how do I coax a deal like that out of tmobile for my Note 7?
