I will be coming in from the west and am supposed to meet family at Lot 407. They suggested trying to park in Levee or Hayfield lot. Going to try and arrive before 12:00. What is the best route to take from I-10 /12? Thanks 1st Time attending Game in Tiger Stadium in over 30 years.

There's not enough money in the world to get me to park in the Levee or Hayfield lots.

Take the first exit when you cross the river to get on Highland and then take a right on Oklahoma street until you hit river road. Ride down river road until you get to the levee lot.

First, if you're coming in from the west and you're at the 10/12 split, you went to far. Make a safe and legal u-turn and take 10 west to College; left on College to Perkins; cross Perkins (College becomes Lee); Continue on Lee, crossing Highland, Burbank and Nicholson; cross the tracks & continue to River Road. Right on River Road until you get there or the cops stop you. Or you could take the 1st right when coming off the I-10 Bridge, then right to Nicholson, then left on Nicholson until the cops make you turn right to River Road, then left on River Road until you reach your destination on the left.

At that time of the day, come down Nicholson as far as you can to the North gates/Voodoo BBQ and pay $20 at one of the restaurants/gas stations just before Voodoo. Head north on Nicholson on the way out...quickest route back to the interstate IMO.

You are right I had a brain fart. I am coming in from the east, traveling on I-10/12 West. Thanks.

If you are coming in from the east, you could always come in on Acadian (Stanford) and take a right on West Lakeshore Drive near the lakes which turns into Skip Bertman when you cross Nicholson heading to the levee.

Come late and leave early

Not even close. I park further away from those lots anyway. It's not the walking that bothers me. It's the sitting in traffic getting out of said lots. I did it once. Never again.

From the west. We exit to hwy 30 and take 30 into campus. Been parking right off 30 at theach Roly poly and Southgate apartments. Cost 40 bucks and is a little walk but leaving is easy.
Q
Just turn left onto 30 and your onyour way back west to 10

Park at the Vet School. You'll be right across the street from Lot 407. I drive in from Denham Springs and take I-12 to I-10 to 110 and take the Government Street exit. Go to the left and take Government until it intersects with Nicholson. Take a left on Nicholson and a right onto River Road which is just before the bridge. Take River Road to Skip Bertman and the Vet School will be on your left, lot 407 on the right.
