Anyone use the Charbroil Big Easy Oil-Less Fryer for their holiday turkeys?

I've been looking into these lately and it seems really easy and all of the reviews are positive. Is there any reason why I shouldn't get one?

Got one last year and it works great.

My dad has one. It works well, but not as good as fried, IMO.
One thing I was amazed by was how much heat that expanded metal lid reflects back into the pot.

Yes - they turned out great. I have the 3-n-1 Big Easy actually but the fryer chamber is the same as the one you mentioned. Was able to find mine at Target for $100 on sale too.

Buy one and the accessories rack and dont look back. I brine my turkey and it comes out great. You can also do
2 chickens at a time.

I just picked one up at lunch to do turkeys this weekend for Ole Miss. Any tips I should know about?

I've owned a Big Easy SRG 3-in-1 for four years and I don't believe there's an easier way to "fry" a turkey. Mine holds up to a 25 pound bird. I leave the lid on for the first 30 minutes then off the rest of the cook time. If I recall correctly, cooking 10 minutes per pound is the ticket.
