The storm never made land fall and stayed far enough off shore to spare inland Florida any direct damage. Get on the phone and get this game back on!

Except players for both teams have been sent home and LSU coaches are now out on recruiting visits. Game isn't going to happen. That ship has sailed.

I agree!!! LSU flies into Tallahassee tonight, buses down in the morning and play the game at 6est. Problem solved. As much money as these universities have this CAN be done.

Jesus people, if other teams acted this way about us in the situation we'd go nuts. It's still not as close as it's going to get to Gainesville. Just because the eye may pass does not mean the storm is over by a long shot. Act better than this. I want the game played as well, but our fan base is coming off petty. We know LSU tried every which way to get this done and UF ducked us.

Teams did act this way toward us, we would have had to forfeit the Tennessee game which was played while a hurricane was actually active on Louisiana soil.

The bullet they were dodging all alone was the LSU Tigers.
Things could have been done, many things, to play this game. Florida was never interested, and used the Hurricane as an excuse.
