Probably. I love Japan, but it will probably be crazy during the Olympics with crowds, heightened security, etc. If you really want to see Japan, you should go when it is not the Olympics. If for no other reason to not limit yourself to Tokyo. Kyoto is really a must if you are going to go all the way over there.
