I have some friends (from DFW) in Baton Rouge (staying in Hammond) helping rebuild stuff and they are looking for a place to fish on the weekends.
No Boat
Salt or Fresh within an hr or so would help.
Any suggestions ?

I like the Sunset Point pier in Mandeville.

Manchac area between Hammond and Laplace looks interesting.
