Auburn should have hired Jimbo Fisher years ago. He was mentioned as a serious candidate once or twice.I think that he would do well at LSU.

My first choice is for Coach O and LSU to run the table, win the SEC, and have a situation like 2007 where all hell breaks loose and an SEC champion LSU sneaks into the playoffs, wins a national championship, and LSU removes Coach O's interim tag.
My second choice is Jimbo and my third choice is Herman. I'll take Jimbo's experience over Herman's experience, but I'll be happy with either.
My 4th choice would Sonny Dykes. LSU has the talent to run his offense and if you pair his offense with an Aranda defense, look out.

If Texas wants Herman they will not screw this one up like they did with Saban. Texas has ungodly money. I believe that they will cut their losses with Strong and move on. That was a dumb hire anyway, similar hire that Jay Jacobs would make.

Made UNC very competitive with limited recruiting base and at a basketball school. Watching right now. Think schemes translate and would work well here
