I thought Jimbo was the 1st option but the ship might have sailed.

That is messed up. They had him last year and now they could have screwed that up completely. S if Herman says no you are in panic mode already if they don't feel Jimbo will say yes.

How confident does it seem LSU is with getting Herman? Pretty crazy that after him they feel they will be in panic mode already?

Care to elaborate on this? Is this just speculation on your part, or have you heard something that would suggest that the "ship might have sailed"?
