What is a rough estimate on a new construction of a 1800sq ft home with patio and built in swimming pool in backyard. Looking to build a lot for 120,000 and build on it. Thanks for the replies.

Geez. So many unknowns in this equation. That being said, the pool will run you at least $40k so I hope that $120 is for the lot and not your actual budget.

Super loaded question because the pool cost should be separate and it depends on a variety of factors like what sort of finishes do you expect, what sort of house style, etc.

You buying a $120,000 lot? Just that's what it's going to cost? No size, city/town, etc?

If you are spending that much for a lot, isn't it a disservice to put that small of a house on it?

We spent about $180K just on construction. Lot is not included in price.
