The OT helped catch Brandon Lavergne who abducted and murdered Mickey Schunick in Lafayette. Apparently he was the boyfriend of a poster's cousin or something. Anyway, it was legit.

This. Apparently Brandon Scott Lavergne was one of our poster's sister's fiance. The poster posted in the Mickey Schunick thread that he thought that his sisters fiance was shady and thought he had something to do with it. Turns out he was right and apparently because of legalities the thread had to be deleted. It was pretty legit.
