Yes. I haven't watched much the last couple of years, and haven't watched one snap this year. Reason:

1. Rule changes in the name of player safety. You can't hit the QB or WR over the middle.

2. Rule changes to promote more offense. There are momentum/game changing flags thrown constantly, and it really slows down the game.

3. Commercials.

4. Roger Goodell. Particularly his handling of the Saints, and willingness to bastardize the game.

5. Players not standing for the anthem, and the league's non reaction to it. Straw that broke the camels back for me.

This is actually not a bad thing. Let me preface that by saying I don't agree with their stance and I don't have to like it, but I do support their right to free expression. And in response to it, the Saints and Falcons formed a ring around the Saints logo before the game and all joined hands. It was kinda gay, but it was a nice way to respond.

Yeah I'd say each year for the last few years my interest has gone down because of rule changes and Roger Goodell. It seems like we see more complaints with the officials these days but I think that starts at the top. They are having to enforce rules that are just ridiculous. Even little things like penalizing players that want to wear specialized cleats on 9/11 are so damn stupid. Of course I watch my favorite team every week but I'm just not into the league as a whole as much. I also quit playing fantasy football about two years ago.

To me this would not be an issue, as the players have a right to protest (whether or not you agree with the method), if the league was not so one sided on the stance. The let the players sit/kneel for the anthem, they let them come into the game or celebrate TDs "hands up" without a blink of the eye; but the team will be fined if they show their support for police officers?

I have never been one to sit around ant watch NFL games all day. I used to plan my Sunday around the Saints games, but will DVR most of them. Even if I am home, I will set the DVR and start watching about an hour late so I can fast forward the commercials & half-time. ALWAYS catch-up in the 4th qtr.

I used to watch college football all day, but the drawn out games bc of commercials (3 1/2 - 4 hours a game) and how bad the officiating is has caused me to watch football (outside of LSU & Saints) as a last resort if I have nothing better going on or there is nothing else on TV.
