I feel like 90% of these posts are people who order something that isn't in an Amazon warehouse, but are from a third party dealer which are not 2-day shipping guaranteed.

White people problems.
But my prime always makes it within 3 days no matter what. I get it in 2 more often than I get it in 3 though.

Yeah, if I order it prime, it's here 2 days later. Never not been on time. If it does take longer, it'll say on the product page "this item requires an extra x amount of days to orocess/ship".

Last time I made a Prime order it was going to be 5 days, so I complained and they upgraded to one-day shipping, which still took 2 days, but I'll chalk that up to handling time.
The majority of my orders (and yes literally a majority) lately have been 3 or 4 days to Baton Rouge even when directly from the Amazon warehouse. I can forgive it a few times due to handling times, but it has become pretty bad.
ETA: A quick look through... I have placed 14 orders in the last 6 months where order/delivery dates are available...
5 of them have come in correctly in two days*
5 of them have come in three days later*
4 of them have taken 4 days.
*One order of two items directly from Amazon.com LLC was split and one item came in 2 days and the other in 3.
*The aforementioned order that I complained about was 2-days, but that's after being upgraded to one-day shipping when then e-mailed me with a 5-day expected arrival.
Again, I can chalk a few up to handling or ordering too late in the day, but that's a pretty poor record. I can't go back further than that with detailed info.

This is not one of those times. I was very specific on it being a 2 day shipping prime item.
I'll live if it shows up Monday but don't piss on my boots and tell me it's raining. I'm a big boy. If it won't be here until next week tell me that. Don't try to trick me with fancy numbers

Yeah something like "item takes 1-2 days to process"
I agree with the earlier poster, 90% of Amazon complaints are from people buying from another company on the Amazon website. I rarely, if ever, have issues with Amazon itself, and I'm a heavy prime user.

About once or twice a month but never 6 days. Usually 4

I've never gotten an Amazon prime shipment within 2 days. Can't wait for my year subscription to be up.
Maybe try ordering things that are Prime items. Because otherwise you're full of shite.

I ordered something today. I'm a prime member and the item was a prime item. The order says it is going to get here Monday.
Same thing just happened to me last week on a book (first book I have ordered in a long time). Ordered on a thursday, choose two day, saturday delivery. Next day, the order said it was going to be here on Wednesday. I called, because I really wanted it for Sunday. Girl said there was nothing she could do to speed it up, but gave me a small credit for the e-book (that was my idea, not hers). Wife checked the mail Sunday morning and the book had been sitting in the mailbox.
You have to update us, bro!

I ordered a mud tire off of amazon and it took 4 days. I'm sitting at the tire shop getting it put on now. God damn mudders.

I have used it for 3 years and I have never not had an item reach me in 2 days

Weird. Ive never had it happen and you have it happen around 20 times a year. Are you in a desolate area?
