Where did you pull that from?
He was born in Cincinatti.

Outside of Ohio State and Iowa State, his entire coaching career has been in the state of Texas.

Being the level headed, Texan/republican that he probably is, I would think that California wouldn't be as attractive as you might think.
Louisiana is much closer to any major ties he has. And he would absolutely kill at recruiting in Texas. He'd have zero recruiting "ins" in California.

He was raised in California. Went to college in California.

Exactly. If USC was such a prominent place, why have they only gotten shite sandwich hires?

Herman has coached in Texas for most of his career, which is right next door to Louisiana. His old college roommate is the DC at LSU, and LSU can match USC on everything except for prestige.

Born in Cincinnati and raised in Simi Valley, CA. Do some reading, it works.
