When we get our next HC - how will it feel to listen to a coherent presser again

I'm ignoring Coach O and the YAW YAW we will probably get this year. I'm more or less asking how it will feel to listen to an intelligent coach like Herman (fingers crossed) actually answering questions in logical English next season.

Anyone thats knows miles knows that was a front. He wouldnt be as good of a recruiter as he was if thats how he talked sitting in front of a recruit's parents.

Are you saying Coach O isn't intelligent? I'm tired of people saying that he doesn't speak well at all of that yaw yaw bullshite. He has a cajun accent, sure, but the man is intelligent and speaks fine.

Honestly I haven't listened to Miles' press conferences in years. I couldn't do it. I even muted it when they interviewed him running off the field at halftime. So it'll be nice.

this. couldn't understand miles sometimes and he always said senseless stuff but other coaches just talk in circles in the normal way.
no matter to me. I quit tuning in long ago. just a waste of time; i'd rather see an ed Sullivan type act with the guy balancing the plates or jugging puppies.

Anybody can get up there and blather the answers everyone wants to hear. Les kept it interesting and fun. I'd like to see how you would do for a presser, probably piss your pants.

Miles was not smart, no individual who makes that much money should talk like Miles unless you are dumb and can't learn.

There isn't one way do things in life. There's many ways to skin a cat. Just because les did things his own way, doesn't mean he is dumb. I don't understand the need to continue to bash a great man. He's been fired what more do you want?

Intelligent? Absolutely (and obviously). Speaks well? Come on man. O's accent is his downfall. It's one reason why he didn't get the job at USC.
You have to be a representative and a spokesman for the university. Nobody want's their representative to don their school colors and be largely unintelligible at the podium.
