No. And hell no. This patient (the football program) has stage 4 cancer. Start your treatment ASAP. It's a safe bet the sooner you start the process, the better the results will be. Get the word out NOW. It's already a dumpster fire. We owe Les Miles nothing. For the record, he has all but buried the elite football culture that was established by his predecessor. And it's that culture that's the crown jewel in any championship program.

Did you see Guise's facial expression prior to the kick return? You're wrong.

I was as much of a CLM backer as anyone...but it almost seemed to me that his attitude was "screw the AD/boosters, the fans love me and I'm not changing a thing"! This is the same tired product we see every year with CLM...the only reason the passing game looks different is they have plugged in a QB who can run the offense (notice I did not say developed...11 years and never developed a QB!). It is time for Les to go...

I'm going to go on record and disagree with you. When you have 18 of 22 returning starters and know your arse is on the line as a coach and was given a miralcle and you come out and play as we have the first 4 games. Sorry brother , time for a change.

Youre right... shouldve canned his arse with no ultimatums after his first loss ever.

Come on man. I was no miles hater (sounds weird putting it in the past) but the man set himself up 199% for this in retaining friends rather than finding coaches. Dont forget how bad offensively we have been over the past few years. We finally got a guy that we trust to run the offense and then Auburn happened... a complete shite show.

Les Miles has squandered more talent than most coaches will ever have. If you can't grasp this, with our universities dedication to giving him every tool possible to get everything out of said talent and his refusal to do so, there is simply no helping you or anyone who feels like you.

I think it was bad idea to get rid of Miles four games into a season after eleven years. You let him finish out the season, and if we get trounced then you do it as soon as the final game ends. I think the fact that the "loss" was so controversial and that you can see the improvements in our passing game also weigh into it. The players love Les, and they were going to keep playing hard for him no matter what. I've never liked Alleva, and I know I am in the minority in saying that it was both the right thing to do AND the best thing for the LSU program to allow Miles to finish out the season. I'm fully willing to accept a sig/avi bet from one of the many of you who are going to roast me on this. If this season doesn't go up in flames and end in a lackluster hire, then y'all can come up with something good to make me eat crow. But if I'm right, I'm just going to be sad because I don't want this to go how I think it's going to go.

you can't go back into the past. The proper way would have been last year, he had his last time in tiger stadium, the signs, the love, the carrying off on the shoulders, etc. however, that has past, this year was all about when, no if, he was going to be fired. This was the best move at this time. Let the season be about lsu and not miles from here on out.

What game were you watching...got hosed? I saw a team walking around confused, not ready for ball in play and a late snap! You can't get "hosed" if the play never would have counted!
Les has run his course....deal with it and move on!

Like I said, I'm prepared for an onslaught of downvotes, but this is the Rant, and I wanted to put my rant out there so if things turn out like I'm afraid they will, I can at least say "I told you so" while I take those sad walks out of TS

So you just want to say " I told you so" after a loss? That's the whole point in this? You literally are ok to lose games as long as you can be right? WTF. The decisions were made and you weren't part of them. It's not in your control.

I guessing that he was told to fire Cam and he wouldn't.

I pretty much agree. It wish it could have ended with his team carrying him off the field. He's always been a class act and great ambassador for our school. We should have returned the courtesy. TBH I didn't feel that way Saturday night, though.

Im not sure what firing him now gets us. Maybe it enables is to "pre-sign" our guy - and lock him in.

Agreed. And that happened...

Should have kept it that way looking back now.

LSU doesn't owe anything else to that clown. He was waaaaaay overpaid. See you later Les! Go run your ancient 1970's offense somewhere else if you even get the opportunity.
