Pretty much stuffed from my midday dinner (some folks call it lunch). My dear 89 year old Mama pan fried (in her black iron skillet) chicken, cooked white beans and rice, mashed taters and gravy, copper pennies (carrots), a little pot of jambalaya, salad, garlic bread and the strongest.after dinner, pot of coffe most of you will ever not drink! ?? I'm a lucky man....

I haven't thought about copper pennies in a lot of years now. I remember my great grandmother making them for my grandfather. Of course, being the 12 or 13 year old kid I was, I turned my nose up at them. Wouldn't mind some now of course.
