Many of you guys aren't paying attention. This whole Briiles thing has been mishandled by Baylor from the start, Even Judge Starr is out giving interviews these days speaking in behalf of Briles.
Don't be surprised if more comes out of here in Waco and if Briles is shown to be a scapegoat.

Deep down, no one wants Briles to the SEC because they know he'll have LSU lighting up defensive secondary's in 1-2 years and he'll immediately change the status quo of the SEC.

Baylor settled with him for $20-30mil rather than say his firing was "for cause"
There is no doubt Briles was a scapegoat. He'd still be a PR nightmare and we'll never know how involved in any of it he was. I can't see LSU taking a flyer on him.
